Fall
by Christine LePage
Today is a rare chance for me to go outside. With my busy schedule I never have the ability to truly take in the smells, sounds, and sensations of the outdoors. Fall is the perfect time for this, it’s not too hot or too cold. Fall is also one of the most beautiful seasons. Even after 17 years of life, there is something magical about seeing the leaves change from green to orange, yellow, and red. The lovely way the ground is littered with crunchy leaves helps add a little pop of color to the otherwise bland, dying grass. The leaves in the air also wonderfully dance in the sky like birds. There is something irreplaceable about a cool, autumn morning; waiting for the bus. The quiet breeze whistles through the trees, the songbirds are gone, allowing for an almost eerie quiet occasionally interrupted by the cawing of crows.
